Ilena Ikene
Lawyer
Ilena is a French lawyer with a particular focus on copyright and authors’ rights. With a background in the music industry, she developed a practical understanding of how creative works are produced and brought to life. Having worked on music creation projects in studio environments, she gained insight into artistic production, sound engineering and the collaborative nature of creative work, which naturally led her to intellectual property law and the protection of creative output.
She also assists clients in trade mark prosecution and portfolio management matters before the EUIPO and national offices, in French, English and Spanish.
She is a member of the Barreau des Arts, a Paris Bar initiative providing legal support to artists, reflecting her ongoing engagement with the cultural and artistic sector. This experience reinforces her ability to advise clients with both legal precision and a sensitive understanding of the realities of creative practice.
Outside the office, she stays closely connected to music through piano practice.
She sees art as a universal language that brings people together and creates shared experiences. This is reflected in her interest in languages, travel and cultural exchange.
