Chloé Gerard

Lawyer

Chloé is a French lawyer with a particular focus on trade mark prosecution before the EUIPO and the French Trade Mark Office (INPI). She advises clients in French and English, helping clients transform ideas into protected rights, guiding them through the full filing journey from initial brief to registration and portfolio follow‑up. She has a special affinity for digital assets, video games and interactive entertainment, having devoted her Master’s thesis to analysing video games through the lens of intellectual property. This sector focus allows her to bridge classic trade mark practice with the realities of emerging digital ecosystems.

Chloé also contributes a strong visual and technical eye to the team. She prepares and refines images for design and trade mark filings, using tools such as Adobe Photoshop to ensure that representations meet office requirements while reflecting the way products and brand elements appear in real life. This combination of legal and visual skills helps clients present their assets clearly and persuasively in registrations and enforcement.

Outside the office, Chloé has a strong interest in Japanese and Korean culture, from contemporary media to everyday design and aesthetics. This curiosity for visual worlds and storytelling feeds back into her work, sharpening her eye for how brands, characters and creative universes are built and perceived across different audiences.
